I ordered Chromagnon and now I need to buy a flat digital display, around 10 inches, with composite or component input. I can’t go with CRT monitors becouse of deck space

I look for a cheap one, around 100-150.

It would be any good the analog to digital convestation happening inside a such cheap displays?

At this price point would I notice any difference in quality if I use composite vs component?

I imagine a good solution would be to use dedicated black magic conversation box but at the moment is out of my budget to buy such devices only for display use.

Thanks a lot

I am interested too, as I am trying to piece things together while awaiting the holy reception ( of the chromagnon.)

Don’t have a firm recommendation for you. But my guess is at that size and price point, yeah, the difference between composite and component is not going to make a huge difference for monitoring purposes.

For me, really only matters for large projections, CRT rescanning, or final digital capture.

Component will always be better than composite.

Thanks to all for the replies and sorry for my late reply.

At this point I will look for a 10inc with component input

I am going to ask for model suggestions in the fn group

All the best )

Some digital displays can have a large amount of latency. I’d look for something that is geared towards gaming, as it should have a lower latency.

If it’s a TV, I’d look for one that has a gaming mode.

Thanks a lot

I found some models for gaming, but only with conposite in.

About the aspect radio, would be ok 16:9?
