Roland v 4ex inputs

I just purchased a Roland v 4ex and realized the only input that my LZX Visual Cortex via a BlackMagic Shuttle works with is input 4 that has a scaler. Inputs 1-3 are for at 480p. Is there anyway to down scale from 720p or 720i to 480p so I have use the hdmi inputs?

I use a V4EX and do not have any problems using the Visual Cortex as an input into channels 1-3 with a standard RCA to BNC cable. From an initialized state this is the only menu option that needs to be addressed to confirm this configuration:

I don’t use an intensity shuttle, so perhaps you can explore this signal path to identify whether or not its the V4EX or the shuttle causing issues.
