Any use for an iPad1?

I thrifted a pair of iPad 1s. I’ve wiped them, and I don’t seem to be able to download anything from the App Store (even old apps) due to the age of the iPad. Does anyone know anything cool I can sideload into the thing? Or is it just gonna be another composite video source? Thanks for any ideas!

I haven’t tested it myself, but it might work for your purposes. Not sure what interesting apps are out there, though.

I last looked this info up a while back and didn’t see this video. This is awesome! In addition to any cool visualization stuff I might find, I’ve got an old teleprompter that uses an ipad for the display, and now I’ll be able to use it again! Thank you!
