Need a recommendation for an inexpensive HDMI to USB 3.0 video recorder

My video recorder has been sent back for warranty repair and I need a cheap temporary replacement.
I need something to go from HDMI to USB 3.0 on my iMac. Any recommendations? It needs to handle up to 1080i60.

how old an iMac is it? does it have TB3? if so the Black Magic Design 3g Recorder works well

Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately my iMac is a late 2015 that has Thunderbolt 2 and USB 3.
