Annex L (informative) — Row budget
A planning worksheet for one row. The requirements behind it are ENC-001 (width and clear depth), PWR-001 and PWR-002 (the currents every power entry and outlet publishes, 6.1), BUS-012 (a bus board's per-header limit), SUP-001 (supply ripple), and the installation sum ASM-001. EIS does not require an enclosure to publish this table; a schema and a validator come with it.
A row is budgeted per power domain (6.1): the bus, PWR-DC12, PWR-A6, and PWR-A15, each where a source of that domain feeds modules in the row. Each domain's sources are listed with their totals (+12 V, −12 V; +5 V optional on the bus; 12 V: one +V and −V pair on PWR-DC12; +6 V, −6 V on PWR-A6; +15 V, −15 V on PWR-A15), and each module with its draw in each domain it uses.
Per-row table
| Field | Source |
|---|---|
| Row id / name | Maker |
| Width (HP) | ENC-001 |
| Clear depth behind panel (mm) | ENC-001 |
| Video reference distribution | none or VID-75 (a coaxial tree) |
Sources, one per line, per domain
| Field | Source |
|---|---|
| Domain | one of 6.1 |
| Source | bus board, supply, power converter, or a product with PWR-DC12 outlets |
| Total per rail (A), on each rail of the domain | PWR-002 |
| Outlets and the limit at each (A): bus board headers at most 2 A per rail | PWR-002, BUS-012 |
| Ripple and noise, mV p-p (a supply) | SUP-001 |
Modules
| Field | Source |
|---|---|
| HP and depth | PANEL-003 |
| Draw per domain and rail (A) | PWR-001 |
For each domain and rail, the modules' sum stays within every source of that domain, and each module's draw within one outlet's limit (ASM-001). When a module publishes no −12 V current, 9.1 recommends planning it at 50 % of its +12 V current.
