Update firmware with LZX Connect
Escher Sketch firmware is updated over rear USB Mini-B using the STM32 bootloader. LZX Connect detects the device and flashes the correct.dfu release.
- Install LZX Connect for your platform.
- Remove the module from your rack and disconnect Eurorack power.
- Connect USB Mini-B to a powered USB port on your computer.
- In Connect, open Firmware Update → Eurorack modules (STM32 DFU) and select Escher Sketch.
- Check for updates and flash. On Windows, install WinUSB via Zadig if prompted.
- Reinstall the module and restore power.
MCU-only updates for Scrolls do not modify the FPGA bitstream. Download packages are also available on this page.
