Scrolls firmware is updated over rear USB Mini-B using the STM32 bootloader. LZX Connect downloads releases from lzxindustries.net and flashes the correct .dfu package.

Update firmware with LZX Connect

Scrolls firmware is updated over rear USB Mini-B using the STM32 bootloader. LZX Connect detects the device and flashes the correct.dfu release.

  1. Install LZX Connect for your platform.
  2. Remove the module from your rack and disconnect Eurorack power.
  3. Connect USB Mini-B to a powered USB port on your computer.
  4. In Connect, open Firmware Update → Eurorack modules (STM32 DFU) and select Scrolls.
  5. Check for updates and flash. On Windows, install WinUSB via Zadig if prompted.
  6. Reinstall the module and restore power.

MCU-only updates for Scrolls do not modify the FPGA bitstream. Download packages are also available on this page.
