Archived RC: 1.0.0-rc.46SD/ED YUV HDMI true RGB via ADV7513 CSC; confirm colorbars on RGB sinks and no HD/Dual regressions vs rc.45
Before you test
- Install LZX Connect 1.3.5 and enable Show pre-release firmware
- Flash 1.0.0-rc.46 (Connect update or .uf2 from Downloads)
- Confirm 1.0.0-rc.46 on the SYSTEM screen
- Optional: RGB-capable HDMI sink or mixer input (e.g. Roland V-4EX input 4) for the SD color check
Testing goals
SD YUV HDMI — true colors on RGB sink
high1. Routing = Standalone (or HDMI In); timing NTSC or PAL. 2. Load Colorbars (YUV core — not Colorbars RGB). 3. HDMI out into an RGB-expecting monitor or mixer input. 4. Confirm white bar is white (not pink/salmon) and primaries look correct.
Pass: Colorbars look correct on RGB sink; no pink-white / false-color scramble. After rc.47: YUV primaries must match Colorbars RGB at 100% level (not just “not pink”).
HD YUV + RGB programs — no regression
high1. Load Colorbars or Passthru at 720p60 or 1080p30. 2. Load Passthru RGB / Colorbars RGB at NTSC if available. 3. Confirm colors remain correct (HD YUV path and GBR cores unchanged).
Pass: HD YUV and RGB-core programs display correct colors; no new artifacts.
Dual analog smoke — 720p60 passthru
medium1. Routing = Dual; Passthru color bars at 720p60. 2. Spot-check your usual analog leg (YPbPr, composite, or RGsB).
Pass: Picture locked; bars aligned; no regression vs rc.45 on that leg.
