Yes. On 1.0.0+, Vid Route Mode and Analog In Mode default to Auto (HDMI, then analog, then standalone; SD color composite resolves to CVBS under analog Auto). You can still set explicit modes: Composite, S-Video, YPbPr, RGB SOG, RGB 1V, YPbPr 1V, and YYY 1V. Analog out modes include CVBS/S-Video, YPbPr, RGsB (sync on all channels), YYY, and SOG (sync on green only). RGsB is not sync-on-green-only — use SOG for that. Dual In remaps Composite/S-Video to YPbPr; Standalone forces RGB 1V. See Signal Paths in the User Manual.

HDMI to CVBS (composite out): Source must output 480i NTSC or 576i PAL. A PC HDMI source sending RGB may look washed out - switch the source to YCbCr/YUV if available.

CVBS to HDMI (composite in to HDMI out): Firmware 1.0.0 packs SD YUV for HDMI. Many HDMI displays and capture cards still cannot display SD (480i / 576i). Use a sink that accepts SD, or watch analog out.

Program change or cable reseat required (pre-1.0.0): Analog In, Dual, NTSC / PAL composite, or RGB 1V + sync dying after a program load is fixed on 1.0.0. Flash that UF2. On 0.1.x only, toggling Vid Route Mode Analog then HDMI then Analog can revive CVBS after reboot.
