Testing goals
SD/ED YUV HDMI — Colorbars match Colorbars RGB
high1. Routing = Standalone; timing NTSC, PAL, 480p, 576p. 2. Load Colorbars (YUV) at 100% level; note primaries. 3. Load Colorbars RGB at same timing and 100% level. 4. Compare white and each primary bar — YUV must match RGB within normal monitor variance (no pink white, no hue scramble).
Pass: Colorbars YUV primary-accurate vs Colorbars RGB on RGB HDMI sink; no oversaturated whites or swapped primaries.
HD YUV HDMI — BT.601 colorimetry
high1. Load Colorbars (YUV) at 720p60 and 1080p30, 100% level. 2. Compare to Colorbars RGB on the same timing. 3. Green and magenta bars must not show BT.601/709 green-weight shift.
Pass: HD YUV Colorbars match Colorbars RGB; no green/magenta hue error vs rc.46.
GBR/RGB programs — unchanged
medium1. Colorbars RGB and Passthru RGB at NTSC and 720p60.
