Testing goals

• Analog In YPbPr — program change at 720p and 1080p

  high

  1. Routing = Analog In; ESG3 (or equivalent) YPbPr into VM. 2. HDMI out to TV (also spot-check analog out). 3. Switch between several programs (Passthru, Bitcullis, Colorbars, etc.) at 1080p and 720p without touching cables or source DIP switches.

  Pass: Output recovers within ~1 s after each program change; no black/red-frame hang; no Y-cable reseat or DIP toggle required.

• Analog In RGB 1V — sync on Y jack

  high

  1. RGB 1V from source; sync from TBC2 (or equivalent) to VM Y input. 2. Switch programs without reseating the sync cable.

  Pass: Image returns after every program change without sync-cable reseat.

• rc.58 NTSC Analog In passthru regression

  medium

  1. Analog In composite NTSC → Passthru → HDMI + CVBS.

  Pass: No regression vs rc.58 on color, interlace, or left edge.

• HDMI In / Dual In program change

  medium

  1. HDMI In 720p/1080p program change. 2. Dual In loopback program change.

  Pass: No regression vs rc.58 (must stay working).
