Before you test

Analog In composite and YPbPr on the shared Y jack

1. Rev B Analog In. Composite on the Y/CVBS jack, then switch the menu to YPbPr and back. 2. Repeat with a real YPbPr source (ESG3) at NTSC and PAL.
Pass: Picture returns after each switch. No stuck black frame and no inverted HDMI colorspace.
SD Sync Out versus the reference

1. Analog In NTSC and PAL composite, Passthru loaded. 2. Compare Sync Out vertical and horizontal sync to the source.
Pass: Sync Out follows the input on both fields. No half-line late vertical sync from the other field.
PAL composite colour with SFL

1. Analog In PAL composite, locked. Passthru to composite out. 2. Check hue on a CRT or a vectorscope.
Pass: Colour and hue match a known-good PAL composite path.
Official 1.0.8-rc.1 and community 1.0.6-rc.1

1. In Connect, show pre-release program libraries. 2. Install official 1.0.8-rc.1 and community 1.0.6-rc.1. 3. Load one official SD program and one community program at 720p60.
Pass: Both libraries install. A program from each source loads and produces a picture.
rc.62 regression — sync-loss and Colorbars RGB

1. Analog In CVBS cable yank and reseat. 2. Colorbars RGB on Analog In composite.
Pass: No regression versus rc.62 on sync-loss recovery or Colorbars RGB.
