Archived RC: 1.0.0-rc.70Program library installs keep the watchdog fed while creating SD folders, so official and community updates no longer reset the device on a slow card.
Before you test
- Flash 1.0.0-rc.70 UF2 (full image) via LZX Connect with pre-release firmware on
- LZX Connect 1.3.10 or newer
- A FAT32 microSD card seated before power-on
Testing goals
Official library installs on a fresh card
high1. Format the card FAT32, seat it, and power-cycle Videomancer. 2. In LZX Connect, enable pre-release firmware and confirm the device is up to date on rc.70. 3. Click Update Official Programs (v1.0.8-rc.1).
Pass: The install finishes, Official installed shows v1.0.8-rc.1, and the device does not drop off USB or reboot mid-transfer.
Community library installs without a reset
high1. With the same card still seated, click Update Community Programs (v1.0.6-rc.1). 2. Wait until Connect reports the community library version.
Pass: Community installed shows v1.0.6-rc.1. No broken-pipe or "disconnected from USB" error while creating author folders.
Installed programs appear after reboot
medium1. Power-cycle Videomancer with the card seated. 2. Open the program list on the device.
Pass: Official programs under programs/lzx and community author programs are listed and one of each loads.
