Archived RC: 1.0.2-rc.1The program picker's author scan no longer stalls the panel: choosing an author shows Scanning n/m and then the program list, and MIDI Assign only opens for a switch that is really held. This candidate has not been through the desk bench yet, so field reports on a full SD library matter most.
Before you test
- Flash 1.0.2-rc.1 UF2 (full image) via LZX Connect with Show pre-releases on
- LZX Connect 1.3.10 or newer
- Official program library 1.0.10 on the microSD card (the more programs the better; community folders welcome)
Testing goals
Author picker with a full SD library
high1. Press SYSTEM so the status view shows, then click the encoder: the row reads "Pick Author". 2. Turn to a different author than the one loaded (LZX, Teletect, or a community author) and click. 3. Watch the second row: it should read "Scanning n/m" and count up, then switch to "Auth:<name>" with the program list on the first row. 4. Repeat ten times, alternating authors.
Pass: Every click lands in that author's program list. The picker never drops back to the status view or loads a program on its own, and the knobs, toggles and buttons keep responding while "Scanning" is shown.
MIDI Assign only for a held switch
high1. While a scan is running ("Scanning n/m"), tap a few P1-P12 switches briefly and press SYSTEM once. 2. After the list appears, keep using the device normally for a few minutes. 3. Separately, hold one P switch for 1.5 s to confirm MIDI Assign still opens on purpose.
Pass: No MIDI Assign prompt appears unless a switch was held for about 1.5 s; the deliberate long press still opens it on the switch you held.
Boot and SD insert with the library
medium1. Power-cycle with the card seated and watch the splash progress bar, then the first program. 2. With the device running, pull the card and reseat it; wait for the "SD CARD FOUND" alert to clear. 3. Open the picker and confirm an author.
Pass: Boot completes with no "Req Timeout" fault and the loaded program matches the saved one; after reseating the card the picker lists the card's programs again.
